Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong is so well-known in the western countries as Lapsang Souchong that we don't really feel necessary to describe it. However, our 2018 Traditional Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong is from Tongmu Guan, the authentic and original black tea production zone in Wuyi Mountain, processed in the traditional way and smoked with high oil-content Masson pinewood. This is an excellent small batch processed in 2018. It is intense and sweet, with creamy texture, smoked just right which gives the typical dried longan flavor, and resistant to brewing. If you are not familiar with dehydrated longan, you may get to know it through this tea, as our 2020 traditional Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong perfectly interprets this exotic sweet delicacy of Asia.
 
Although we suggest brewing it at a water temperature of 95ºC, as an authentic tea from Tong Mu Guan, it is excellent enough to bear 100ºC. Also, you can try different parameters, for exampal, 5g/100ml/90ºC/20s, which will give different flavors.
