This is a very classic shape originated from the Zisha teapot Shi Piao (石瓢).
Shui Hua (水花), the flower of the water, which refers to the lotus flower in this poem.
Calligraphy: 水花晚色静年芳, “the lotus flower exudes fragrance in the silence of the night”, by poet Cai Songnian (12th century).
Pattern: lotus flower and lotus leaf.
Both the calligraphy and the pattern are created by the “carving and filling” technique, not painted on the surface.
