Together with Bing Cha(cake), Zhuan Cha(brick) and San Cha (loose leaf), Tuo Cha (nest) is one of the four most common forms of Puerh. And Menghai has a reputation for its distinctive ripe/shou Puerh. Among numerous excellent products of the region, we well selected this 2010 Long Yuan Hao Menghai Tuo Cha. Long Yuan Hao is a famous trademark of Yunnan province, and also one of the ten famed Puerh brands in China.
This is a perfect daily tea for Shou drinkers. After being aged 12 years in dry storage, this tea is in its prime. It provides a round and rich liquor with a silky texture and a very clean taste, you wouldn't find any hint of unpleasant flavor or smell in it. This tea is pretty easy to brew, even for beginners, with a longer or shorter infusion, the tea may be thicker or milder, but it is always sweet, bringing out a comforting sticky rice fragrance in the liquor and some pleasant aging aroma and woody notes in the steeped leaves.
