Song Zhen (pine needle) is similar to Jin Zhen (golden needle), but of a lower grade. The only difference between them is that the raw material of Song Zhen is a bit more mature, a bud with the first spread leaf, which gives the tea a different profile, as well as a more economical price.
 
This Gao Xiang Song Zhen (aromatic pine needle) is a very decent Dian Hong, sweet, fruity, nutty, stronger flavor and thicker texture in comparison with Jin Zhen. As the tea name indicates, it is pretty aromatic, the pleasant fragrance lingers long in the steeped leaves, in the liquor, and in the bottom of teacup.
