De Zhong, the bell of morality. Zhong (bell) refers to an ancient musical instrument, a well-known sample is the Bian Zhong. De Zhong is a very classical design, believed being created by the great Zisha master Shao Daheng (1796-1850).
This extra tiny De Zhong is made from high quality Zhuni of the same batch as our Ming Lu pot, but with original mineral sand added in, creating a lovely orange-peel like surface, also increasing the porosity and permeability of the clay. You won't very often find such an elegant teapot for your individual tea sessions!
In addition, although it's almost impossible to take photo inside of such a tiny pot, there is a poem with high-level calligraphy engraved on the inner wall: 一壶冲古意,千秋有同心 (Brew a pot of ancient sense, bring a thousand years of the same feeling).
The photos were taken under natural light and not edited. There may be subtle nuance when you see the teapot under different lighting.
