Bi Shi Yan, translated as Green Stone Rock, is one of the 99 famous rocks of Wuyi Mountains. It is located in the northern part of the Wuyishan National Scenic Area, on the northeastern side of Lian Hua Feng. Although it is not as much of a core zone as San Keng Liang Jian (the Three Pits and Two Ravines), it is considered a distinguished subzone within the authentic Zhengyan area. Compared to San Keng Liang Jian, Bi Shi Yan is more exposed to sunlight, with a longer and more abundant sun exposure period, giving its tea an intense aroma and flavor profile.
Being a small area, its limited harvests are always meticulously processed, often using traditional methods and roasted adequately. Our Bi Shi Yan Rou Gui is crafted in the same way. The high-quality raw material, combined with sophisticated charcoal roasting, fully enhances the characteristics of the Rou Gui varietal and its specific terroir, delivering maximum intensity, dynamic energy, and abundant minerality in its complex flavor, resulting in this exceptional and flawless tea.
